Unibank joined the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Armenia

The Unibank has become a member of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Armenia (CCI France Armenia). This membership will allow the bank to participate in the strengthening and development of business relations between the members of CCI France Armenia. Within the framework of cooperation, Unibank intends to implement new projects, developing relations with the French-Armenian business community and French companies in Armenia.

This year, the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Unibank, Mesrop Hakobyan, and Philippe Delmot, member of the Board of Directors, participated in the first France-Armenia Economic Summit in Paris - organized by the CCI France Armenia, which aimed at developing the potential of economic relations between the two countries, as well as high technology and sustainable and decarbonized economy.

Unibank started its activities in 2001. The main areas of development of Unibank are the public sales sector, SME support, private banking and international settlements. The bank has 54 branches and over 100 promotion centers. Unibank's services are used by almost one third of the working population of Armenia.

Unibank was the first bank in Armenia to conduct an IPO and place its assets on the stock market. In 2022, Unibank was recognized as the best share allocator by the stock exchange allocation system.

The bank actively uses financial technology and innovation to provide innovative services. Unibank, which is one of the leaders in the retail market, has launched an artificial intelligence-based credit scoring system. Apple Pay and Google Pay payments are already available to the bank's customers. According to the 2022 results, Visa awarded Unibank the Strong partnership in driving cashless.
The transition to green energy for decarbonization is a key component of Unibank's development strategy. Unibank's data center is now powered entirely by solar energy.

Experts from leading ESG analysis company Sustainalytics provided a second-party opinion on Unibank's "green" bond issuance concept and confirmed its compliance with international standards and the requirements of the Green Bonds Principles 2021.

The international agency Moody's Investors Service has given Unibank a B2 rating with a "stable" outlook.
